Zaevyul is deeply committed to sustainability—across workflows, production processes, and waste management. We continuously strive to improve efficiencies in order to create a more sustainable business model.
Against a backdrop of real and growing challenges faced by artisans, our focus lies in promoting
Sustainable livelihoods, particularly through a gender-inclusive lens. The heart of Pashmina-making—spinning the yarn—is traditionally and exclusively done by women. We work to empower these marginalized yet highly skilled artisans by providing them with dignified means of livelihood and a platform to showcase their artistry.
This commitment to Women empowerment and livelihood sustainability forms the foundation of our enterprise. Our dedication to environmental sustainability is also evident in our packaging practices: smaller orders are shipped in elegant Kashmiri wicker baskets, while larger ones are packaged in recyclable materials, including reusable tote bags.
